It has been such a joy to physically open Atelier Fleur at STEK Breda. After several years of participating in art markets, I came to realize how deeply I value direct connection with the people who encounter my work. I love the meaningful conversations that can arise, and hearing about the personal interpretations that emerge when someone engages with my work. For me, art is about connection. Having this space allows me to nurture that.

It also brings me great happiness to shape this place into my own little sanctuary. From the walls outside to the furniture inside, every detail is created with care. I have always loved the feeling of building my own world, and through this open atelier and store, I truly feel able to invite you into it.

Being part of the STEK community has also been extremely valuable. Sharing a space with other creatives and small business owners who share a vision of circularity and creation means a lot. I feel like STEK is an example of what building an alternative future looks like: Working only with recycled material and cherishing local and small businesses. To me it has something hopeful and magical.
