 My name is Fleur. I am a visual artist drawn to the quiet work of reconnection, with one another, with the earth, and with ourselves. I sense that the climate crisis and the growing fragility of our (mental) health are not separate wounds, but shared expressions of a deeper estrangement. In a world driven by endless consumption, production, and noise, I choose to slow down.

I work with humble, tactile materials — second-hand fabrics, handmade natural pigments, thread, and paper — allowing them to change through careful, patient gestures. Slowness, manual labor, and attention to detail become gentle acts of resistance, opening space to witness the extraordinary hidden within the ordinary.

My visual language unfolds through natural and mythological symbols, echoing ancient ways of seeing, when stars, trees, and flowers were understood as living presences, woven into stories. Symbolism, to me, speaks directly to the subconscious, where intuition and feeling merge into form. In this space, the boundary between ‘human’ and ‘nature’ softens and dissolves, and we remember that we have always belonged to the same breathing, living world.
